A C 19 th unusual cast iron bench

A C 19 th unusual cast iron bench. Cast iron ends and wooden slatted seat.
Made for the Furness railway line station in the Lake District England, Beatrix Potter country.
The end supports have wonderful eagle head arm supports with. Scrolling grapes and foliage.
The base of the end supports are both decorated with a lovely big squirrel with a bushy tail feeding from the vine.
A charming piece.
The front feet are claw feet. The back ones are cone like and might be a later edition.
