A rare C18 th Oak Belgian cabinet. From the Wallonia region in Belgium.
Consisting of a cupboard top with a very decorative bold architrave, 2 panelled doors carved with flowers and foliage to the front corners and sides and 3 shelves within.resting on the lower cabinet. The top part has a horizontal panel again heavily carved which folds down to reveal a desk opening.Flanked by very ornately carved shoulders in an unusual rounded form creating an excellent surface to exhibit the craftsman’s carving skills.
The base has a further 4 panelled carved doors with shelves.This design is continued with carved flower and foliage panels on the sides.
Resting on 2 paw feet at the front
All original oak ,with very good patina
