Beautifully drawn,each flare ,curve and subtlety of design creating a generous proportioned chair with elegance and finesse.
The front legs are square tapering ,with splayed back square legs.
The back rest is shield shaped ,the armrests curve out beautifully with a carved rosette at the elbow and falling to a scroll finish where the arm joins the seat.
The floral and swag painted decoration is all original and the finely shallow carved detail that decorate the front legs, shield and arms give yet more interest to the form.
With very good provenance
