A very good C18 th walnut Austrian upholstered bench/ settee with can back rest and cane sides, upholstered seat and swab cushion. The gently outward stretching sides with a shapely unusual stretcher frame to the sides and back rest make this a desirable generous bench. The detailed hand carving to the exposed frame is subtle so doesn’t detract from the simplicity of the bench.
Recently restored and re upholstered
