A very good C19 th inverted breakfront bookcase,With very good architectural form.
With a cavetto moulded cornice resting above 4 glazed doors, Octagonal pillars in between the glazed panels all mounted on to an exaggerated bombe plinth with ogre feet creating such an interesting solid form, the angles of the octagonal show off the wonderfully well figured vaneer.
The interior has sets of adjustable shelves with a panelled back.
The really exceptional thing about this bookcase is ,it can be completely dismantled, and fits together perfectly so can fit in almost anywhere.
