An impressive late C18 th / early C19 th French Ash commode with its original marble.
The three drawer commode sits on wonderfully carved gilded, bronzed feet.
Each drawer crossbanded around its edge with an ash panel inside is decorated with bronze lion mask with ring handles and locks with griffins and rams heads. Flanked by bronze heads in the empire style and panelled sides with more contrasting crossbanding.
An impressive piece in very good condition and excellent colour.
