The commode has 4 generous size drawers that reach across the whole front of the commode. The surface on all 3 showing sides Is finely decorated with a marquetry inlay of an open free flowing large design. The top surface of the commode also decorated with marquetry depicts a figurative scene in the centre. This also has bone inlay. The colour is excellent and has a wonderful warm glow It has brass furniture,not the originals but in keeping with the style of the commode.
