An exceptional 19th century French painted and gilt settee. Wonderfully hand carved intricate work on the top, front and sides of the frame. With four legs along the front of the seat and three to the back, with beautifully extended hand-carved and painted open armrests. Upholstered in a lovely golden/ olive green velvet that complements the fine gilding and paintwork on the frame.
