C18th Irish mahoganydeep seated six leg settee. Completely untouched with its original barrel castors. This settee is exceptional,beautifully well drawn with wonderful kicking out back legs.With cabriolefinely carved legs to the front with acanthus leaf carved on the knees down to finely carved ball and claw feet,so well carved intact that you can see the tension in the outstretched claws. Scroll ears on either side of each leg and fine shell decoration on the apron either side of the middle front leg. With wonderful exaggerated swept arm with paper scrolls armrests and high back.
It has been re upholstered in a fine watts fabric with stud detail
